I left him another voice mail yesterday. I'm going to try calling him again today or tomorrow.

The last thing I heard about my wheels was that the car was towed from his apartment complex because it was missing headlights and mirrors. He was supposed to find out where they towed it to and arrange for me to get the wheels. So far, nothing has happened.

That is what he also told me (not in so many words though) in a PM on May 1st. He said he had to pay to get it back.

So, "The last thing I heard..." was about when? Certainly not May 1st, I hope.

I can only assume if he doesn't have the money to get his car back, he doesn't have the money to refund us either. But here's hoping... I've blown bigger sums of cash on stupider things.

"The last thing I heard" was around two weeks ago. I talked to him on the phone, he told me what happened, and he said he was going to call me back when he found out where the car was towed to so we could get the wheels off.

I've also lost bigger sums of money than this but it's a pain in the ass because the tires on the m-edition wheels have a lot more tread than the ones on my current wheels. I wasn't planning on getting new tires since I have already paid for a new set of wheels with tires on them already.

I don't know if his car runs or not. He never really said why he was parting it out. If they towed it somewhere and he can't drive it back to his place that probably leaves us screwed. Hell, if it runs, I'll pay to get the thing out and have a car for spare parts or daily driving.

That sucks. He probably needs a residence to have the car towed to. Since he lives in apts they probably won't allow that car back on the property. With all the pieces missing its probably an eye sore. I was just going to see if he still had the clutch available

I talked to Chucksection again about a week ago. He said that he will be reimbursing me for the m-edition wheels and LS trauma for the fuel door. He said that he would be shipping med_mx6's mirrors within a few days of when I talked to him.

Also, just for everyone's information, the car is in an impound lot. He is moving out of state and everything that wasn't in the car when it was towed is gone. Many of the smaller pieces (digital climate control, sills, misc. parts) were picked up by the trash men so they're obviously not available any more. There are now rare mx6 parts sitting in a landfill somewhere.

PS: Why is this thread a sticky?
