hey there guys, i'm new to this so i just need to see if its worth it for me to go thru all the hassles. i have a car that works, works pretty well actually. but the body is shot, rusting and a hole has formed and leaks inside the car, drivers side. so i decided to scrap the car since i can't sell it to anybody, but i rather part it out then to give it over to a scrap yard. i live in toronto, canada, and seeing if ppl are interested in getting parts out of it.
the car is in original, no mods. it is a blue 1996 LS 2.5ltr v6, 5speed manual. if anybody needs parts out of it, tell me now, so i can either get it out.
Engine is good, leaky valve cover gausket, and the tranni was rebuild a couples years ago with synchros, new clutch and new cv joints.
i would like to sell the entire powertrain as a whole.. tranni, engine and clutch i'm asking 1200. makes it easier for me since i don't have a lot of space to store the entire car
1200 seems a little rich for me... if I had that I could find other parts cars with everything working for 500-800 and sometimes less. if 1200 is your firm price i'll pass on it but thanks anyways.
it's not really in the budget at the moment... i'm not in a huge hurry to get something so i'm waiting for one of those 300-700 dollar deals to come along which pop up every now and again on kijiji... my car is fine as it is just nice to have the extra parts on hand you know...
