I really want springs and I've been looking at this thread for a while now. But I think the reviews of these springs are mixed and that's why most people are staying away. Plus the price does not really make it a must-buy.

IMO, reviews can be very subjective and this can be amplified by the source of the review (magazines?individuals?)...As you say, differents opinions have been stated about Apex springs just like the Eibach, H&Rs and Intrax...
Dude, each brand of springs will answer a specific customer need and thus, you have to determine what kind of spring suit best your driving style...
Bottom of line, there are no "bad" springs in the market, only springs answering a wide range of needs... ;-)
imo, these springs are not the best. i bought a set of eibachs from ebay shipped for less than 250. maybe he can take them back to the store and ask for a refund or an exchange for some springs he wants. . he may get some offers if he was looking to get 90 bucks for the springs since who the hell knows how much it costs to ship from freakin canada.

Instead of stating some hypothetic theories on an item that you're even not insterested, simply leave the thread free of polluting replys like yours...
I agree with MetalPGT. Those that are not interested in a product being sold by a member of this forum should refrain from discouraging others who may be interested. This should be a rule for ALL for sale forums.
From my research, it is quite evident that Apex are excellent springs and are highly recommended. They give a better drop than Eibach and many prefer the less agressive front spring rates.
Bump for a good set of springs and a good price for brand NEW!
About 1 hour per wheel. You need to rent a spring compressor or try your luck without (get life insurance first) and wicked crooked elbow to get to the rear strut tower bolts. Hope that helps. Search this forum and you will find lots of info.
You MUST have a spring compressor: it's more easy and less hazardous...I already heard horror stories about people not using a spring compressor tool...
