possible B pillar Bar 1st-2nd gen. Probe/Mx6

I was looking at making a few of these.

I have a idea on how im going to make them and have made one for my 2nd gen Probe, and Im looking at making one for my first gen but I was wondering If I made a few extra would anyone want any?

When I put mine in my 2nd gen I noticed a big difference. Much better handling in the turns. especially the sharpe ones. I would reccomend this mod to anyone that like the canyons, autocross, or just driving in circles Also you will still be able to put your seat down, for you lovers out there.

Price would be 45-50 shipped. Bar painted black. or bare and you can paint to match whatever you would want.

Please post if you would be interested. Here are some pics of mine on my probe. this is just to give you a idea. just a pic of the bar and the brackets. bar is bare no paint. Easy to install just need a 17mm socket and ratchet. Ill include instruction if anyone needs them.

sure, did u feel some difference. Also it would be better if the bar was closer to the roof , because it seems like that it might crack your head in a collision.But definately interested.

The pillars are to far forward to make any bpillar bars work as a harness bar. Basicaly its safer to mount it harness to the floor,although not recomened.

Props to you if people are interested, but ive had bars for sale also and havent sold one yet, also for the same price. So your not to far off.

I have one suggestion, the bar sits to low, the brackets need to be higher otherwise the rear seats will be a pain to access

Yeah I wouldnt Recommend using this as a way to put seat belts too.

Yeah people really dont buy much, but you never know thats why I wanted to get a feeler going on plus Im having them massed produced in china, and doesnt cost much so if I sell them for 2 buck I make money. It might come out cheaper. Im into helping the people out, not trying to make the buck. Im not saying that you were out to make money off of people so please dont take this offensive.

The bar might sit a tad bit higher, but not much, I wouldnt recommend this bar if your lugging around kids and have to put a car seat in and out all the time. As for people getting in the back, I find it hard to get out of the back seats, without the bar, this just gives me something to hold on when I Climb my butt out.

what is the bar made of? and what grade is the steel brackets

i wouldnt have made much. compared to the streetthisbars wich were equally the same, and sold for $80

Good price, would even tempt me to buy one. Lets hope the price doesn't skyrocket as many of them do once someone finds there's interest.
