they are from a 1993 the only year made... from 94 to 95 they stopped complete construction and had a recall so people would bring these in. so theres even less of them out there. im not willing to take trades of any matter. im building up my spare rx7 motor right now and have 3k in parts already. i need more money so im selling these sweet babies for some cash. thanks for all the compliments!!! you should see my engine bay of the 7 i have the compressor housing of the single turbo all bling! haha anyway im getting sooo many pms so first local dude that comes is gonna be happy for a long time!

The recall was because the lighter rims cracked and werent safe, you make these sound like the better version. They do look nice polished though. Probably way too much work for me to do to mine.

they are safe its just you dont get a second chance. there are many people that have these wheels and never have a problem. you can hit potholes and bumps no problem but when you hit a really really deep hole (like you would normally with a car and cringe) they are going to crack. i dont even thing thats a bad reason to not buy these i've cracked wheels before and its realy easy to weld right back up again... watch i'll upload some pictures from my camera tomorrow with some before and after shots. dont be hatin on these wheels if you really had experience with the wheels or an rx7 that had them like i do you would know the whole deal with them.

I have a set of the 93 wheels at this very moment and sure enough one of them is bent. I'm gonna send it in to wheel technologies for trade in but I've been busy with my recent move.

thanks dunko! you obviously know what your talking about as i have 50 hours into them already... and easy way to look at this is that your paying 100 a wheel plus a spare. i just paid 800 a piece for my forged volk pro series wheels and these fd's are lighter!!! but i needed the bigger staggered setup.

some brand new pictures that some peole requested...
pictures 13 and 14 are of one wheel that i have finished sanding down and is ready to be polished with compound. (i feel back inlove with them so decieded to do some more work the other night). pictures 9 and 11 are of the backs showing that they are indeed the lightweight ones being the number 2 stating production date of 1992! shot 15 is showing my personal approval of them and no the dog food is not included
