I have for sale 4 k-sport coilovers for the mx6 and probe gt 2nd gen. The driver side rear adjuster has stripped. I was told putting a larger allen key in would rememedy the issue. I have decided due to the roads that I have to drive on daily that coilovers just are not for me. These have a much improved ride over the ground control/illumina setup i had before, but I'm getting old and simply want a smoother ride. New these go for $860 I will take $750 plus shipping, I'm open to offers. You can reach me here or via e-mail, matthewcastro@hotmail.com
my name on probetalk is N/A matt if you need an reference for my credibility.
Thanks for looking.
whoever picks these up won't be disappointed. i love mine!
94 mx6 - you name it - I did it, came up with it, tried it and rejected it or just plain still have it. 93 mx3 - klze, i/h/e, rims and paint.. daily driver. 98 jeep GC - 5.9L with bolt ons, lifted, locked. 32x10.5 Goodyear MTR winter/ 30x9.5 bfg ta/ko summer
I know this ?? might be off the topic but do you know of anyone that did a good right up on puting these on. for some reason they scare the [shizzle] out of me , i dont waht to screw up puting them on. Is it hard to get the ride heights correct.

that's not really an answer of any sort, everyone knows you can take anything to a mechanic and for whatever they want to charge the item can be installed, properly is another story. Goat knows a lot more about these coilovers but I found myself tweaking them for a few hours before I got the ride height even on all 4 corners. it isn't hard at all, just kinda annoying. if there is not a write up on here then I'm sure there is one somewhere over on probetalk. good luck with yours.

wow what happend to this thread, I know I posted a response yesterday, and some one also answered the question about taking them off the car to adjust them.... odd... but yes you leave them on the car, you just unbolt the bottom portion so it can spin easier.
The standard spring rates are 7 kg/mm (392 lbs/in) front and 5 kg/mm (280 lbs/in) rear. That is what these are.
Aprox. how much does it lower your car where with the driver's side rear adjustor where it's at now? How many mls are on these?
Do you know if the ride is much stiffer than Eibach/Illumina set-up would be?
My stock springs and struts are in good shape. How much cash would you like on top of these?

WELL i got them on not as bad as i expected after the first on is gauged its pretty easy after that. Very inpressed at first curves that i usualy slowed down on now are no match and i have to really stop on it to break tracktion. The ride is a little more bumpy than i expected but i still have to play around with the adjustment, it seems like it got the height right on all the way around the first time. I was so excited that i jumped in for a test ride before i had tightened all my lugs on mire rims that was not fun having to creep home.

lol ouch, yea I'd had that happen once, pretty scary. I was told after some miles the springs will settle a bit? not sure if that is the proper term with this application, but the ride should smooth out some. I haven't driven it enough notice, it's been in the garage the past two weeks getting new stuff and breaking more stuff
the ksports are bumpy for about the first 100 miles. After that, they settle in and the ride is nice and smooth. The only thing annoying about them is the camber adjustment. My new tires are being eaten alive because i can't seem to get my camber correct.
