not sure. Buddy i bought it from said that a local guy at the tuning shop chipped it with a program he had. Regardless of what it's tued with, it is a very nice tune, very smooth HP curve, and nice and flat torque band. I can tell too, whenever the accelerator is put down...it's great.

I think my goal for this car is 180-185 WHP N/A. That with some good driving can get me a low 14, no?

and ragin, very nice

suprised it took this long for someone to point out the carpet being gone.

the previous owner left a window open and there was a puddle behind the driver's seat
i vaccuumed it, but it was so thick that the pool formed again.
so i spent a few hours stripping the carpet out and getting it to dry.
so it's been out the car since saturday.
After the carpet was out, and i drove it in the rain, some more water formed on the floor in the same area.
So i do have some leak testing to do to see where this water is coming from. My guess is the firewall, or one of the drain plugs on the floor has a bad seal and spray underneath the car is getting up inside.

Low 14's is very doable on that amount of power. Hell, some have made it into the 13's with that and even low 13's with slicks.

I believe the custom chip and tune. Steeda has a program for our cars now, so I might check that out when I get around to this ZE swap.

my yellow mx6 had a leak from the windshield as well, leak in through the front of the headliner. The headliner is dry, and so is any moulding inside the car. The majority of the water is behind the driver seat, in front of the back seat (where your feet would rest). Im thinking it is possible that the C pillar drain for the sunroof is clogged and might be backing up and then down a small hole behind the quarter panel. I hope not though.

I hope it's just a scenario where i have to take the floor plug off, put some silicon on it, then put it back in.. lol

the rims have grown on me

i really think im gonna go for an N/A build on this car...
spend you know....2000 bucks or so and get a 185+ whp mx6...maybe 190!

decent exaust, cams, and MS... done with performance at that point...

Rims will stay. They are ok with me. And with some more work to the cosmetic side, will match nicely. You'll see

meh, i see it as being cost effective if you want to exceed the 200hp mark NA
you should be able to break into those kind of numbers you want with the right tuning and cams. i think a while back Justins car (before it was turbo) dyno'd around 181 and that was just the ZE im on a DE iirc, could be wrong about it though
