The best thing for a 2g is, all the bolt ons it can get, and then make it look damn good like I4MX6's for example

how much is the kit anyways??

yup exactly, i got my RS lookin darn good but im not gonna bother with speed because id have to do either a motor swap (too much time and money) or a turbo (just dont like the idea of a turbo daily driver). To go fast im gonna count on my Z28, when i get it it should be already be running mid 13's with the mods it currently has.

A local speed shop here in Windsor

but check locall or go to zex.com to find a retailer near you

edit: btw the advantage of zex is the cost is lower ...the quality is jsut as good if not better than NOS brand systems

Prior to the tranni issues, and the car being lowered, best I ran (as somewhat indicated in my sig) was a 14.4 at 104mph.

since it's been lowered (would get us a better 60ft) and if the tranni was as solid as it was when I ran that, we could get pretty damn close to a 13.x without any additional mods or tuning.

So ya, 14.9 with bad 3rd gear, and an average 60ft leads me to believe that there was still room for improvement that day. Ran out of time and Nitrous though!! LoL
The nice cool air helped too!

our mx6's are by no means imports.. they were manufactured in the same plant as FORD probes, so they are domestic.

FYI

There are those who like hondas, and those who like Mx6's... I like women.. word!!!!

Matt get outta here!! LoL

It's an import because it is of japanese engineering and design! not an American design!

Where it was physically built has no bearing. The design specs are what make it a Mazda, import, not a Ford Probe.
