Heres a few pics , tell me what you think all ..... and remeber my girl is a work in progress!!!!

The last 2 photos are her lining up and then lanching againts a camero (opps...firebird)...
Heres the thing reaction time and 60' were almost identicle

This jsut goes to prove imports can kick the Shizzle outta muscle ( for the first 60' at least lol)

Best time was a 14.9

now to qualify that .... my tranny has synchro issues in 3rd gear

and was only testing her with a 45 shot of nitrous

it was her first time on the strip since i got her

i was glad she ran solid but now to get a better MTX tranny for her

har har i disagree, take out the nitrous bottle and then do the 1/4 again with that "firebird". With great driving skills and alot of mods an mx6 could beat a formula firebird like that but it would be difficult. I will say though that on a track the firebird wouldent have a chance. I dont want to start an import vs muscle argument because they both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Nice looking six you got there though

and yes i know the whole thing for the muscle vs import

i was for most of my life a true muscle only fan

then i got my mx-6... what can i say it changed me for the better lol

yea same happened to me. I have a 91 Z28 waitin for me at the moment. When i got my six i started to enjoy imports but i still have my roots in muscle and cant wait till i get that camaro. What did that firebird run anyway? (outta curiousity)

The firebird ran an 11.9 hehe in that run the mx-6 ran a 15.3

yea i got screwed synchros and probably a gear fork right now in my MTX. Won't go into fifth gear at all

I found another 5 speed with 30K miles on it for 210 bucks with a year warranty about thirty minutes away from me though. For right now im cruising at a lovely 3-3500 K rpms lol

I am still trying to find an MTX for mine ...well that and the cash for it lol

But its still runs fine for daily driving jsut can't speed shift her worth a Shizzle on the track

no, there are more mods than that.

Hi! I was the driver for the day.
Track was very sticky, took a couple tries to ge the launch just right.
Windsor what was our best 60ft again?
Also, I rememeber the best 60ft run, was NOT the best time of the day. Still an incredible amount of room for improvement even if we changed nothing but fixed the tranni.

Its got a clutch, mx3 flywheel, intake exhaust, ZE Cams(not as much of a difference as you might expect), short shifter, the 45shot of Zex, umm, phenos, and maybe a couple more minor mods that I can't recall at the moment lol.
The rubber was very fresh and those subzero 15 inch rota rims weigh VERY little.

edit: oh! It's lowered with Eibachs and tokiko blues, and the clutch is a CM stage 1.

haha love the blurred out canadian Smot Poker lol Darn good set up you got there then. Id expect a slightly better time then 15.3, but i guess a quirky 3rd gear will do that to you. A ZE manifold would probably help a bit too. Have you guys checked your tranny fluid? If its low on tranny fluid that could cause synchros to go and alot of other bad stuff.... IE bent gear fork and loss of 5th gear...

If you think the fronts are bad take a look at the drivers side tail light

its bad enough i gotta replace it due to water/moisture damage
