Update:
I ditched the idea at LAST MINUTE for them to fill in the rear side markers. Turns out you have to have them, or the vehical doesn't pass safety, and the cops will give me even more hassle than they do now. So, I guess I will have to get them to make holes in the front bumper to put in the front side markers.... Then my dilemma is, is changing the bulbs in the rear sidemarkers... They are currently white / light blue and the cops bug me about them. I have to change them to red, BUT I cannot seem to figure out how to get to the bulb.... I have spent a long time trying to figure it out.... So if anyone has tips on how to get to the bulbs in the rear sidemarkers, it would be greatly appreciated!!! |

To get to the bulbs in the sidemarkers gently pry the sidemarker out with a flathead screwdriver wrapped in a towel or cloth. Once the sidemarker is out, you just twist the socket and replace the bulb.

You'd call a tow truck and he'd halfway rip off the front bumper, and in doing so ruin the fenders as well. Of course that depends if your lowered too much or not. You could also fabricate up a screw in tow hook. Also keep in mind if you end up ever getting any sort of damage to the front of the car it'll be a lot easier and cheaper to fix if you can just remove the bumper.

Update:
Car gets painted this Friday!!!!!! All the prep is complete. I refinished the rear quarter windows, so that they are not all rough, and ugly looking. They turned out beautiful! I have my new Ksport struts ready to be put into the Ksport coilover assembly. New Brembo rotors ready to be put on. Still looking for some good rear calipers. Just got a Manual ECU to chip with the Probinator chip... Still need the chip though. -Shawn. |
