Well someone has to be willing to give me some skirts. You can already buy the MS Lip. Im not really in the market of buying one just so I can spend the time and make it for less.
I enjoying remaking the things that are rare and hard to find.
Like I will be making the rare lip spoiler for the 6.
I'm pretty sure the spoiler is still available OEM. I have a part number that seems to follow the numbers for the optional accessories for this car. This was an optional OEM accessory for all North American models.
0000-88-SPLR-4A
Check with the dealer first, but if thats the number, its only $340 retail and $150 through Mazda Motorsports. Its titled Lip Spoiler on the parts site.
Oh and while I'm at it, these are the part numbers for the rest of that OEM optional kit: All Mazda パーツ情報 <MX-6>
Don't know about availability at the dealer anymore, but they are available through Mazda Motorsports.

Which is good. When I got mine, there were 2 sets known in Canada and like 4 in North America. Now there are 5 or more supposedly. Good to keep things rare in some cases and this is one of those things that sadly, unless he's your neighbour, you wont be getting them replicated. I still can't find a shop to do mine for a price lower then the cost of the car, so its not worth it since none of you would be willing to pay more then $200 a pair when the rest of us paid at least 3 times that for damaged or excessively used versions.

dude are you kidding me? i know they are rare, but there is no options really for our cars. wouldnt u rather see people having mazdaspeed replicas rather than having buddyclub sides or shogun?
and just because some of us are cheap doesnt mean we all are. personally id pay up to 300 or so on these.

Everything looks good Lambera what does those foglight lens do exactly?
Send a set to China and you can have them pop out like cup cake, all you need is the kit shipped to China and a few grand. I was gonna do that when I wanted to buy I4's kit last year, but I just graduated and have way to many bills to pay.

I have MS skirts but it would probably be more feasible for someone in the US to send their set to Lambera instead of me having to deal with customs and that B.S.
1993 Mazda MX6 [RF] - hardly ever driven but still money burnt on it
2006 Honda CBR600rr - daily driver/rider and potential death machine

Nothing to worry about customs, it's not that hard to have China make car parts. I did some import business and logistic work right after college, it isn't that hard, you send one copy there and come back with as many as you want. Custom won't even check it unless you get pick, and usually only performance parts cause they are all metal.
Just like the new turbo kit group buy on PT, those are all China pipes and they probably run less than $150 a set to make. I'm sure you can have 2 lip kit make for a lot less, only the molding is expensive, then afterward each kit will probably cost $30.

This is true but the problem is Mazda made it out of a rubbery type of stuff. I wont put mine on the car because the paint doesnt last.
Made a little progress tonight didnt have much time though.
