Aww, you beat me to the fun. I won't be going down there till summer break. =(

So, exactly how much did you enjoy that? Too much to stay coloring inside the lines?

It was the best time i've EVER had driving the car. The first few miles don't generally have photographers, so I was taking it easy since the turns were so hard I was scared to put power into it. By the time I saw the first photographer I had already started pushing it to almost full throttle around the corners. As long as you enter the corner correctly with the right amount of power, you'll make it just fine.

Also, if you decide to go, pick a day when it's going to be cold or dreary out if you're worried about cops. On any given sunny day, there is a cop over the Tennessee border almost every 30 ft.

And Dustbin, we do this every year with my car club. PM me if you want the link to our site.

Thanks for the great responses guys!

Yeah, I've heard the Tenn side is rather ridiculous. I never knew it had photogrophers along it though. In that case...

I need to get my car painted before Summertime.

But that's good that you had fun, it's not every day you get to experience roads like that. Got any plans on going back anytime soon(Beyond the once a year ordeal, I should add. *Envy.*)

Ah, I believe I'm going there in June. You should see if that's a possibility for ya if something opens up.

Oh, and it's bothering me. What "red 6" is 94 pgt talking about? I'm not seeing anything red...

Definetly holler the next time you come up for the Gap. I sure I can get some more TN guy to show up (including me!). I used to frequent the Gap until it was inundated by po-po's. I think I've only been twice this year.

I used to go to the Gap every September with my Miata club - even honeymooned there after my wedding two years ago. But the cops are nuts, and it's just not fun anymore, so we're skipping the trip this year.

Every place else I've been, giving tickets for going over the double yellow is BS, but not this road. There are so many blind corners, if you don't stay on your side you could find yourself going head-first into a car, bike, semi..... Check out Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap and Cherohala Skyway, Graham Co, NC for their pics of trucks on the Dragon.

Need to dig the pics up tonight. I had moved them into the "don't give a [shizzle]" album when I got my Mx-6. Rofl.
