They are easy to afford now, come a year ago they still wanted 25-30k for them, realizing they are basically worthless now and have no resale value, you can find them for around 20k or less

Even at 20K, that's $377 a month, insurance would probably be $200+ a month. I could probably swing $600/month, but I wouldn't really want to.

I bought mine for 28K, and I have it paid down to 20K after 2 years, so I can see somone willing to sell it for that price just to get it off the books.

They are spendy to own however, my payment is 462 a month and it really straps me for cash.

Nice swipe same color as mine

No, D's, you have my never dying love and affection. Maybe karma if I come accross a post of yours in my ramblings.
This one, even with the Grand Touring package, two-tone leather seats, only 204xx miles, and in amazing condition, ran me just a nudge over 20k. And because these are not known to be fast like the Sti's and even the base WRX, insurance is less than 2k a year. This is according to my parents who helped me out with finding that kind of info. And insurance on this is less than for the base WRX, just because of the crowd that owns these compared to those. Not bashing either one, btw. And with a hefty down payment, I really don't have all taht much to pay off. Great interest rate too!
Still no pics, but I'm getting there haha. Later this evening if I don't get too busy.
Hey stealth? You have the two-tone interior as well? OR just plain black?

So what's your payment? And I guess you have a pretty good job for a 20 year old.

The payment is right above 300/month. And yes, for a 20 year old, I consider myself lucky in the job department. Plus I save my money, not that others don't. I just save pretty much exclusively for stuff like this.

I have the all black interior. I wanted the 2 tone but I bought mine with 7k miles so it was cheaper than new but I still got it in 06 If I would have bought it new, I would have got the 2 tone, and probably the titanium paint over the black as well.
I do love the black though it gets dirty in like 30 mins

Oh, wow, sweet deal for you. I liked these from the beginning but could no where near afford one back then haha. I was 18! Anyways, the 2 tone is amazing. I love it. Looked at the regular one and this just seems so much nicer. And I wouldn't trade the black for anything, no matter how quick it gets dirty.
Though, the cherry black mica looks amazing in pics, its too purply for my taste in person.
Now on to the pictures!!
Kinda crappy out and the car's a little dirty, but you get the picture.

And the interior(dealer's pic because my interior shots sucked lol)

dude thats a sexy car, I just creamed my pants.

it's too bad that they used just a 4cyl for the 'speed6, instead of some hopped up v6... It just seems odd they would use the same I4 turbo used in the smaller 'speed3 in the 'speed6. the base/midrange model comes with a v6 no? it would only seem logical that the mazdaspeed model would at least have 6 cylinders, instead of "downgrading" to 4 cylinders. I know the numbers can still very much carry this car... but... a 6 cyl turbo or some hopped up v6 woulda been killer.

just my $0.02.
