the art is in the details.

ok so i didnt take enough pics but thanks to hugh i now have a pasenger side window that rolls up and down faster and dosnt squeek!

i also tinted the pasenger side window from where it was replaced after getting shot out a YEAR ago!! lol.. its great to have it all match.

and i went to my first pep boys ever the other day and to celebrate i bought a tinted licence plate cover and it really compleetes the black windows black tails black rims and difusor look for the back

i also sanded down the rubber around the rear windows and painted the trim.

im still cleaning and detailing but here are some pics






and i wetsanded and buffed out alot of overspray off the car.. still have spots i find but its getting there

2500 grit sandpaper is king

closer pics?

I remember someone using black silicone to fix the rear 1/4 trim. I was going to try that but alwase afraid to. 1 of mine has the dry rot.. very frustrating

yea i thought i took closer ones but i didnt and its dark out now so ill just snap some tomrowo

i sanded it with 180 and then 320 so its better but its not perfect.

The best stuff to use so far is the black rubber dip in a spray can wet sand then clear coat.

Man I gotta do this soon... just got my car painted and it really sticks out. Looks good though

Paint the wiper cowl while your at it..

What the hell is in your front window?

It looks good man. Get some closer shots. I may be doing this soon while the car is parked.

My car is going to be the bastard love child of a JDM, ESPEC, and USDM Mx6 threesome.

It's getting there.

yea i dont drive it hardly any and when i do its in town driving. so it keeps my battery nice and charged

i cant wait till my friend brings me my 2 klze intakes and my new valve covers so we can start polishing them! also going to polish out the throttle body and detail the engine a good bit. along with making a 1 piece carbon fiber intake.

what kit is that? and where were you parked at mmx?

99 SVT contour. msds headers and highflow y pipe,65mm throttle body,eibach springs & koni adjustable struts,k&n ru3530 cai,pgt fstb.

its a buddy club. the front is a modified stingray bumper.

i was parked in the green section. i was right in the middle of the row... the car looke NOTHING like this then. it had black halos and looked pretty [shizzle]ty... im sure some of the guys have pics from the meet.
