Still doesnt matter, what if the roof caves in when you roll it, then they cant get their hand inside to open the door. It sure would be nice to have an exterior handle to save your life

Eh i wouldnt mind going out rolling the car and diein in it. Of course im odd like that. Exterior door handles didnt save the guy that had a heartattack in his car when i was at work (security) I had to bust his windows out because his dang doors were locked!!! Didnt matter though, was DOA.

Because when you roll, your first reaction is brace yourself by sticking your arms against the window that isn't there. Good bye arms.

People mentioned the risk of shaved door handles, including my parents that wouldnt allow my sister to ride in my car. My defense was, how many new cars automatically lock at 15+ mph? The fire dept deals with those, and you don't hear of any extra danger.

I do love door handles. Not necessarily the way they look, but that they work flawlesly forever! No replacing solenoids, no dead batteries, no breaking into your own car. I love it

And the fact that if I ever finish my car I can go to the track

Edit- Except my sisters contour handles. Takes like 5 tries to get that [fizzle]er open and now my wrist in in pain after 2 days of [fizzle]ing with that while car was in for PS.

That's my thoughts exactly. MANY cars lock as soon as you put them in gear, and as far as I know, they don't unlock in the event of an accident.

Looking good Bert! I will have to try to find some time to take a ride to go see it when you get it all painted. I really like the fd's with the kit.
