Haven't post any picture for awhile... LOTS OF PICTURE

Just finish up some suspension upgrade on the RS, with 180k on the clock, both rear struts were leaking, rear swaybar was just hanging in the air. So I replaced the struts/springs with some KYB/DZ springs, upgraded to 626 swaybar with new endlinks, changed the ball joints and tie rods.

And of course nothing is simple on these car right?

Passenger axle fell apart on its own when I remove the strut, and it refuses to separate from the half shaft. The axle is only a year old, so I got the replacement for free, then got a half shaft from a friend, I left the half shaft on the axle when I return it for the warranty

One of the swaybar bracket bolt is rusted to hell, and it snapped when I try to get the nut off, so I had to drill through it to put a new bolt in...

Finally done with everything...

These will go on after this winter

Some update on the M-Edition, I'll try to work on it more this winter, hope to get some body work done at least.

Ok, that's it for now

Good stuff Henry. Looks like I will be putting off any upgrades to my 6 for quite a while. Back to school = no spending money.

I hope so, I don't live at home so I can't work on the car all the time, that explains why the progress is so slow on this thing, the RS has been an attention whore lately didn't help either I started collecting these parts at the end of 07, and the car was parked since April 08 due to some oil issue, either the turbo seal or ring which I have yet to find out. I would much rather have these parts on the car then just sitting there.

I pulled the motor in the spring, looking to get some body work done, some rust removal plus coat the subframes and underbody with POR15, then get the whole car paint.

Few more pictures

The M-Edition trunk is actually filled with parts, maybe I'll take some picture of those later
