The return of Mazdaspeed!

Here are the current pics of my car. I got into an accident or two last summer, and had to get a new hood. I decided to go for the OEM style CF hood this past January, and it fits perfectly. Last spring, before the accident, I had the car painted bright yellow. For those "before" pics, here is the link:

Since the accident, I've gotten the windows tinted, got some new tires, and a few scratches have been put on my car by stupid people who can't park. My plan is to get it repainted, yellow again, but with 20 to 25 percent orange in it, and also some 17" wheels. Anyway, on to the pics, tell me what you think:

Well, in the first accident, i was being an ass, and turned left on a red, and rear-ended this lady who didn't speak english. She didn't know what to do, and just drove off. The second accident, this old guy just stopped in middle of the street for nothing, and i reacted quick enough only to get my hood bent, nothing major there. The bra, (Or to all you seinfeld fans, "Man-Zier"), was put on before the accident, I was to take it off when I got the CF hood, but the bumper is so scratched up that I'll won't take the bro off until after the next paint job. Thanks for the compliments, and keep 'em coming!

Yeah, I didn't think anybody would notice the Mazda wings!

When I was in Chicago, the cops would always freakin ask why didn't have a front license plate, so I had to put it on. I had already wasted money on a chrome Mazda plate, so I just popped the wings off the plate and put it on the CF hood. Since moving to Philly this past winter, PA doesn't require people to have front plates, in fact, they only give you one! I might get another Mazda front plate, but we'll see.

Before I left Chicago, I also painted my calipers the same color as the body. To anyone wanting to paint your calipers: Do it the right way the first time, don't use spray paint. Get kit with the hardener, and scrub and paint the calipers and let 'em sit without the wheels overnight. It'll last forever that way.

I like bras on cars if they fit right and yours seems to fit nice and tight. It's nice to see a yellow six. There are not many yellow ones around. Give it a drop and some low profile tires and you'd be set!

Man, I don't get it, everybody hates bras on cars. Eh, it'll come off once I get the new paint job. At least the one item people don't like on my car is removable! Thanx for all the complements, and if anybody is in Philly, look me up!

	It's a well-known survival tip that you should always carry around a length of ethernet or fibre cable when traveling in wilderness areas. If you get hopelessly lost, bury it. Then you can ask the backhoe operator for directions when he cuts through it. '91 Miata: Turbo.
