Sorry, probably didn't read each post before you posted yours. That's understandable as the meat of them are summarized in the first post.

The only reason why it is in General Automotive is so we can include BOTH 1g's and 2g's not having it hidden from one side or the other.

We can use that. So your current power is 145whp (no torque value?) at 9psi. Your goal is 180whp at 15psi.

Isn't the B2000 powered by the same motor as something in the community? Maybe the FE3?

If someone is actually trying to get the goal, then they are all realistic. If not, we can laugh at them next year.

210 whp. Good enough?

If you want wheel torque you'll going to have to say which gear. Crank torque is 254 lb ft. Target is around 270-280.

Dynos, in the US at least, calculate torque based on speed and rpm acceleration so gear used should have a very minor affect on the results.

Please populate...

Wheel torque is crank torque x total gear ratio.

if you have power, and you have rpm, you have crank torque with an accuracry that is the (addition?multiplication?) of the errors on the other two figures. power is measured on an inertial dyno by measuring the rate of change of speed (accel) of the drum of a known inertia. this inertia needs to be signifigantly larger than that of the drivetrain, and it usually is. its the fudge factors applied afterwards that f#$% it up.

you can also calculate the wheel torque by the speed of the drum and power. but why would you want to?

as for the rex, who cares, put him up, or take me down, if your lack of spirit for those around you is that strong, i'd rather not be involved.

fred.

while i am part of the community, and have owned my fair share of mx6s [4] and probes [2], at least you have the same family of motor, and a commonly swapped one.

I suppose it wouldnt be fair to pair a far more excellent motor/car with one of the mazda mx6/ford probe.

yet... you're comparing the F2(T) with the KL03(ZE)(T)... so, i guess it wouldnt matter in the long run anyway. And if your not 'comparing' then.. why shouldnt you include anyone that wants to join in, especially active members in the mx6.com community, regardless of car owned.

edit: im not whining to be involved, as i could care less. I know what i make, i know my goals, and i know if ive acheived them or not. i just think, if not for me, then for anyone else on this forum thats still here, despite having left the realm of owning an mx6/probe.. they should be involved.

on a side note... jeff.. you drive a ford probe, and your posting this on an mazda mx6 forum, yet your excluding people. seems kind of ironic.

fredio, if you'd like to be removed from the list, I can do that for you. Just confirm it before I go ahead and do it in the next revision.

Again the only reason this thread is in the General Automotive forum is because it is visible for both 1g's and 2g's to be included.

Side note, one of my friends has a WRX too, I have nothing against them.
