on the new motor or the one still in the car??
the one in the car read 260 across the board, except the middle front bank read 180 and the firewall bank passenger side read about 210... granted i know those numbers are high. the gauge probably needed to be calibrated. BUT, it shows that there was a consistant pressure on 4 of the 6 cylinders, and the other two were noticably lower. new motor?? not here yet, not installed. the company claims they comp test them, but who knows...they probably don't supply results either. I have a 1993 Mx6 And I want to be in the HP challenge!
All my mods are in Garage.. I want to boost about 10-13 psi or as much as i can with out to much knock. I plan on running Water Meth Injction with 94 oct. ( for my daily driver) I am also going to be getting my car tuned for some race gas.. I think I will be abl to boost 15 psi + with 109 oct and water meth? I am totally new to this.. and this will be my first turbo car. My turbo size is... .70 compressor .63 turbine I dont have a goal.. maby you can point me the way I will be going.. I think 400+ hp. With street tuning only. Need to dyno tune and seek professional help.
Pulled master fuel for the third/final run and picked up nearly 10rwhp/10ftlbs and still rich.dyno sheet dyno pull |

I have no proof of this other than theory and a datalog, but i believe i am in the 300 - 350 crank range as per my original goal. i base this on 15degrees timing, 18psi, 550cc injectors maxed out, and 33% toluene in the tank with 10:1 stock pistons :-) .

Didnt end up going when I was told it was going to be like $70 a run when i was told half that. Im still waiting on hot pipes as well. They are from Gandarilla about 4 posts up
.Now im throwing up whether to do a 1/4 mile run on a dyno run. To see progress before and after boost. I cant afford both . |
