mazda mx6 for 15,000

the car is a 1994 Mazda mx6 2.5 v6 KL-DE.. i am looking for some advice on the price that i will be selling mi car for.preferably by the veterans of this site..i have just a little over 25,000 in my car now it would be a lot more but i have done most of the work my self.
I'm thinking i need about 15,000 for the car but i have not seen that many mx6's for that price. so I'm looking for your thoughts.

engine.... Has less then 200 miles. fully rebuilt new cam, crank, rod, thrush, bearings.the crank has been turned. it is bored out to 86.5 with JE pistons,to save me from typing it is fully rebuilt.heads are port-n-polished.and port matched.intake is port-n-polished and port matched.
new after market HB PULLEY. new oil pump, water pump, timing belt, intake is also powder coated maroon-sh, braided hoses and lines. the compression is 8 1/2 to 1 do to the fact it is turbo charged. .. turbo kit is a t3t4 full kit oil line and all . stainless steel hot pipes, and manifolds. inter-cooler kit, completely installed. NOS 100 to 150 kit made by nos installed to. bigger injectors, HV fuel pump, i am sure I'm missing somethings . but you get the idea.

BODY....color white car with dark red to a maroon-sh color tribal graphics.on the sides. top over the hood and roof, trunk is the maroon color with white tribal. body kit is the blitz kit. kit molded to the car. the Clear coat has four coats and it has been sanded with 1200 and 1500 grit between coats for that wet shine.sickens paint and clear. i am a body man so it is don right.no rust ever on the car. the only Bondo is in a few small dings and to mold the body kit to car. hi rise fin in back.

INTERIOR...black factory interior. black dash. seats are custom to match paint scheme seats are black white , with some maroon-sh . front and back. some of the door panel and back panels are also the custom color leather.
two 7" monitors in the back of the front seats. a 5" touch screen monitor in the dash that is the DVD,CD radio player. it controls the back screen to. a nos bottle is between the back seats. with gauges. side window mount gauges , boost ,oil, vacuum, temp .. custom rpm tach right hand side of dash.

RIMS-N-TRIERS.. ultra rims with a low pro tire. exhaust is single into dual out the back.

well that is about it like i said I'm sure i have missed some things.
the car is not up for sale yet but knowing what i put into it i would like your opinion on the top price you think the Car can sell for . in thinking about 15,000.

I think the car can sell better if you say why you sell (such a wonderful car).

On craigslist I see many cars (of course not as good as yours because you don't see many mx6's anyway), that the seller makes a long list of changes or upgrades to the engine but never says why he's selling. My guess is always "he's selling because he messed up big". I'm sure is not your case but I think it's a good idea to defuse that thought from potential buyers.

Pics .

Without knowing your local market, I would still probably say good luck getting 15k for it. While it would be worth that much and more, the thing with big dollars into a cheap car is, you get next to nothing back. Spending $20000, would make little to no difference as spending $10000, to the value of the car.

good luck on sale, and sounds like a really nice car, but you can only expect to sell it for 6k. i dont see 'anyone' paying more for it. but if they do, id be surprised. if you spent all that money for it, just keep it. or find a noob off the streets that knows schit about it and sell it and say its rare and fast. thats the only way.

this is a joke right? u think u are going to sell a 94 mx6 for 15k??

you can get brand new cars for cheaper, and used, better cars for much cheaper. sorry man, but there is no way in hell it is going for even half that.
good luck though. u are talking about a 14-yr old car. and despite what you are thinking, and how much you love it, that is all it is, not some amazing shelby cobra or something.

the best way to do this is think to yourself "I have $15,000 to spend on a car, what kind of car will I buy?" a 1994 rx7 will cost that much, so will a 2004 subaru impreza. i know you put a lot of money into your car, but you have to understand that with a car that old money is a losing battle

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The man who had nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." -John Stuart Mill

a> if your list is complete, and most of the labor was done yourself.. something simply doesn't mesh with that "i have 25k into the car" statement... unless you're counting in a 10-12k purchase price, or a bag of money "in" the car...

b> modifications don't add their value to selling price. only a small fraction.

You won't get 15k for the car. If its in truly immaculate condition with nothing ghetto rigged... you *might* get 9-10... and that's only when marketed to a certain audience.

post pictures of the car... i don't mean this to offend you, but our cars are rarely worth what we think they are.

94 mx6 - you name it - I did it, came up with it, tried it and rejected it or just plain still have it. **Now in the caring hands of Chef**
93 mx3 - klze, i/h/e, rims and paint.. **FS - on a lift, has an engine, just need to put them together. I have no time. come buy it cheap.

Always! id hate to have to fix someone elses crap.

Modifications dont add to value, they decrease it, unless they are serious track car type modifications.

Just so you know, down here recently, a car with a very clean bodykit, rims, leather, 4WS, the lot, struggled to get $8000aud.... whereas a completely stock untouched one, with 20,000 ORIGIONAL miles fetched $13,500au

Worst thread ever.

.
I was going to say exactly that, but I've never turbo-ed a car; so I dont know the costs involved. I'm guessing he has perhaps half of his total amount in that car, maybe $12k? but $25k? where the heck did all that money go? and why haven't we seen this thing around if its that much of a masterpiece?
