Weird interior!

Has any one ever seen this style interior?
eBay Motors: Mazda : MX-6 (item 280228056336 end time May-24-08 16:57:37 PDT)&

I thought it was a swap at first but the matching door panels have me stumped.

The front's look like probe seats though.

If I remember correctly someone made a post a while back with the same kind of seats in their car. I'll have to see if I can find the thread.

They are RS leather interior seats. They were a rare factory option and are kinda ugly IMO. It's cool that there was an option for the RS though.

I'm selling pretty much everything that I don't need on my car. Hit up the for sale section for some nice goodies.

It's weird that someone swapped the whole black leather interior from an RS into an LS. I guess black leather is black leather.

It doesn't look that bad but I'd much rather have the cloth covered JDM LS seats. I'm still undecided on whether I want to recover mine with leather or cloth.

Yeah, I want to get a set of JDM cloth seats just to have when my leather gets a makeover.

But it's an LS? Might be a swap but proabably just a factory freak. Kinda rare for a jap car but I'm sure it happens.

I'd like tham too but not in the redish/grey combo I've allways seen. They look like MX3 seats. I want them in solid black or dark grey.

I think it will probably be cheaper to recover my seats in cloth but I'd have to get them covered in tan cloth/vinyl. I've thought about doing a tan seat with black vinyl accents on the side bolsters so they don't get stress rips like the factory ones. I guess it could look okay if it's the same shade as the stock leather. I'd get all the seats done to match as well as the door panels and side panels in the rear.

It's too damn hard to find a complete black interior and piecing one together is almost impossible anymore. Not to mention shipping costs a fortune. That and I'm rather fond of my tan interior. It just goes well with the black exterior.

On your kauai blue car a black interior is sex but I'm not really keen on the black on black look. If my car was any color other than black I would want to change it.

I like the lighter color interior. I think it stands out more and looks more luxurious on my black car than an all black interior.

whats the big thing with JDM? the japs usually do spartan interiors most of the time and cloth options are always spartan. even in my new car, which has the top trim level, the "leather" seats are pretty plain and not real leather as well.

those seats up top look great and comfortable as well.

I have a black leather interior and no A/C.

So I want a cloth interior for the same reason the japs do ... cause leather is friggin hot! Also cloth usualy grips better than leather especialy if your sweating. And if you spend 20 minutes hot lapping on a 98 degree day you will sweat.
