cheap ways of painting a car

I'm not going to go get a $4000 paint job on my car because it has a lot of miles and I'm not sure how long it will last, but I want it to look better than what it does. The last owner didn't care much for it and let it get blotchy. ARe there any cheap ways to get a paint job done? lol

kansas is always so helpful...lol

depends on how cheap you want...maco will give you a [shizzle] job for 500

if you want to go crazy cheap i know people that spray bomb a car with flat black paint and it looks actually half decent....that will cost you less then 100

borrow a compressor, buy some paint and a gun, filler and do it yourself. Less than a couple hundred out of pocket

that's really cool. what do you do about rust spots though? i'm not about to dig holes into my car just to take care of the rust because the last owner could have cared less about it.
