Question Can I drive in the rain with my car in primer?

The front of my mx6 is in primer waiting for paint in a few days.
Bumper, hood, and fenders are in primer.
I used Duplicolor grey sandable primer.
It is raining here, and will be for the next few days.
Will it be safe to drive around town in the rain?

Thanks!
~Shawn

from 1 nite of driving, could it rust the metal underneath?
(Only the fenders are metal. the rest is carbon fiber and fiberglass).

Yes, it could. Primer isn't waterproof. Best is to not drive it, but if you have to, you have to. I drove mine in primer around and didn't hurt it, but mine was more of a water proof primer designed to be used on a car that would see the elements before paint. Yours sounds more "off the shelf". Not to say it's bad, just probably not a good idea to drive around with it and only it one the car if you don't have to.
