Interior is good, no cracks in the dash, Paint isn't bad (looks better than the paint on my six, one crumple dent on right wheel fender. engine runs on gas squirted in intake. He says the injectors are not working.
Should I get it?
I was thinking if it doesn't work i could just drop a F2T in it. Are there only certain years of rx7 in which i can do it? is it the 88-92s? any info on these cars will help. I'm going to go look at it again tomorrow morning, Hopefully someone will post by then.
Do it. You can always find something awsome to do with a RX7. With that kind of interior and exterior condition why not. I do like collecting possible project cars though.
Nitrous is like a hot chick with a STD..... you know you wanna hit it, but you are afraid of the consequences.....
With a truck bellhousing the motor will bolt up to the trans but the disty will hit the firewall and need to be removed or the car will need to be cut up.
Better bet is the Kia FE DOHC. I dont know if the intake will clear the hood (proabably not) but theres no disty to wory about and it's allready RWD.

90 pontiac transam. 350 TPI motor new 24# injectors. Rebuilt trans. lots to come.
Seems like someone tried to run a DOHC and had to cut out the hood or something. If you can fit in it, get it. I'd love to have an older RX7. But being ginormous i can't even wiggle into the seat.
Humm....
Interior is in pretty good, has some bad shifter play (can it be fixed easy?) Manual tranny, factory radio still works! Will not start, no spark (plus he said that the injectors were not workin). 97,000 miles I'm thinking may be I'll go ahead and get it, some other dude was wanting it so I don't know if he still has it. Hopefully I can make this work.
Well I bought it, so lets see what kind of project I make out of this. I first got to work on my B2600i 4x4, Even though its running its been neglected! Engine bay is dirty and needs lots of new hoses, tune up and transmission/differential fluid change. Plus tons more stuff!
