Buying a 1994 MX6

Hey guys, im new to the forum and am really interested in owning a mazda mx6. Well today i went to go see a 1994 Mazda Mx6 2.5 V6 auto. The body was in very good shape and it only needed rotors because it sat for a while. The car was sitting for 4 months and it fired right up the first time. I noticed after i took it for a spin the engine had a very faint knock or tick to it. I asked the guy if it always did this and he said "yea, i took it to the dealer and they said it is just a valve adjustement". I just want to make sure thats what the problems is. Other then that the car is in good shape.

if it's a faint ticking sound, it's just the hydrolic lifters ticking away. all it does is makes a sound, still runs perfectly. although if u absolutely hate that sound, u can take it apart and clean it up.

the 5 speed tranny is much better than the auto tranny.

welcome to the forums.
