K&N Recharge

I have a K&N that needs cleaning, I already have a recharge for the crappy spectre. Would that work? Its still a cleaning bottle and an oil bottle.

I would say yes but I'm not sure because I have used k/n recharger on a different filters and got the same results but not sure if it would work the other way around.
Only one way to find out though?

it should do exactly the same thing, just take it easy on the filter oil..
