I installed Taylor ThunderVolt 8.2mm wires not too long ago. They are great quality and they seemed to make a difference but I don't drive my mx6 much so I haven't had extensive experience with them yet.

do you know the difference between any of these things? the taylor website just gives me application guides but no specs about the wires themselves

I glanced at the ones you posted up. I'll look a little harder right now.

Number 1: Taylor Spiro-Pro 8mm wire sets have maximum firepower without radio interference, provide up to 10 times less resistance than standard resistor core wire. Other features include a 100 percent silicone inner and outer jacket that provides heat protection up to 600 degrees F. They're available in your choice of vibrant colors.

Number 2: These Taylor StreeThunder spark plug wire sets feature 8mm diameter black silicone construction with synthetic jacketing to resist heat, oil, and abrasion. Their 500 ohm per foot resistance delivers greater spark energy. By using a KEVLAR® helically spiral-wound core conductor, the Taylor StreeThunder spark plug wire sets provide greater strength and durability to suppress electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.

Number 3 (is not spiro wound): Taylor's Hi-Energy wires have heat-resistant silicone jackets and boots, double spring locking spark plug terminals for better gripping, an 8mm size for high-compression engines, and a resistor core to suppress radio interference. Available in blue only, these wires withstand temperatures of up to 500 degrees F.

I'd probably go with number 2.

LOL. I modified the stuff at the bottom of the pages you linked to get rid of the marketing bull[shizzle].

Number 2 advertises a 350 ohm per foot resistance as opposed to number 1's 500 ohm per foot.

The 8.2mm ThunderVolts I have are advertised at 50 ohm per foot.

Who knows how accurate those numbers really are though. Number 2 only comes in black and number 1 has a bunch of color choices.

take one off and breakout a multimeter to measure it?

from the top of my head I think it's in the 600ohm range...with wires being about 1.5-2' long.
