Are you going to junk it? How much for the car (w/ engine, tranny, other stuff so I can drive it onto the trailer I'm going to get) after you're done?

Sorry if I don't see you at the track... kinda hard to get a good look in the rearview.

Car may be used as a backup race car. I'll need to take a look at it in person first, but I might take it if no one else does. The car does have most of the parts I'd need to drive it all of 50 or 60 feet max on your property onto a trailer, right?

Alright, sounds good. Just send me a pm once you're ready to sell the mx6 (basically, once you're done parting out). Since I'm going to probably wind up stripping down whatever car I wind up getting, might as well already be part-way done.

Thanks btw.

no j-specs, driver's side fender is dented up somewhat so it's not mint. Cat-back is custom 2.5" w/ straith through 4" tip muffler and no cat or resonator.

I'll have to see the car in person before I make a decision. Is the engine actually bolted up? If not, can you do that (I'd like to have all the powertrain stuff together - I'm going to run stock class, so I won't be using any performance there). Most of my work will be in the handling department, and I'll also probably add on lots of extra safety equipment (remove airbags, racing seat, cage, 6-pt restraint, Hans-Device compatible, etc). btw - what's that in pic #3? Looks to me like damage to the structural integrity possibly (if that's the case, I can't take it due to safety concerns) but if it just looks bad due to the pic angle, and is actually a cosmetic part, then I really don't care (car will get scratched and dented from racing, why care about a little dent?)

Thanks!
- JR

yea that is actually a crack (started as rust) in the driver's door jam. it's fixable but u would have to cut that piece out and weld a new one in. as is it's definetely a problem it the structual integrity. honestly u would have to put some money and time in this before u can race it, just to fix all the bugs... and that's why i m getting rid off.

Hmm... how long are you going to be there? Actually, you know what, my cell's 810-410-5619. Shoot me a call and/or pm with your contact info, I might be able to head down there wednesday, and definitely Sunday (saturday I'm working on campus doing tours and stuff... not much money in it, but I can use every cent I get).

Thx.
