Bulk buy for 1st Gen Lightweight Pulley - NOT Underdrive

I have been talking with Unorthodox racing and they will make stock size aluminum racing pulleys for our first gens but we need a minimum order of 30.
They would cost about $90 each.

That is a VERY GOOD PRICE and it is NOT underdrive so you don't have to change belts or worry about not enough juice or A/C at idle.

THe real perforance benefit comes in the lightness of the wheel and NOT the size. The stock pulley is a heavy mutha (over 4 lbs). The lightweight aluminum version is 1/4th the weight.

My harmonic balancer needs a replacing and I will be replacing it with another harmonic balancer. Good luck with the BB.

Okay so you dont think Id be able to get even 20 people interested? If so, then I guess I will scrap the idea for now.
I cant seem to find anyone that is making (or still making) a lightweight NON underdrive pulley for the 2.2L mx6.
Guess not enough demand.
Performace Probe had one for a while.

A bulk buy anything usually doesn't work for 1G MX6.com. You could set up a bulk buy for $10.00 bills if 30 people gave $5.00 and it wouldn't happen.

Yah, but that one is heavy at 22 oz's. The ones that UR was gonna make me are supposedly closer to the 13 oz's of their underdrive pulley because of their newer swiss cheese design.

A bulk buy in 1G MX6 is not only not worth the effort, it's also a waste of time. If you want one made, have one made for yourself.

most sites i've been a member of...ceg,pt,here,shoforum..etc run groupbuys of 10-15 people. its more feasable for the "less desirable "platforms.
i bet 10-15 would work here.

K well its a moot point. They need a MIN order of 30. And Im not gonna shell out 30 x $90 to get 30 pulleys made that will take me a year to sell just so I can get 1. Maybe its better to convince UR or RR to make us one.
