I meditated deeply on Feens response, and it didn't make sense to me. Full Yoga cross-legged sitting position, open palms facing the ceiling with eyes closed, and listening to Yani, and still no positive answer.
![]() Your water arguement sounds much more convincing. But I'll have to meditate on that one as well before I bust open the karma flood gates. |

Water almost sounds right, but generally the answer for these riddles fits 100% not almost. If the answer is "no", I will be disapointed.
Ps, someone find the answer before I neck my self. |

Here's the answer:
Time The time has come, winter is here and those yellow bears disappear. The time has past as man looks back with a sigh and a tear in his eye. As time is held boys cross their legs but of course the toilet begs As time marches on Girls loose their blush and swap a comb for their brush As time passes For those held high their end is nigh As time catches up Everyone is equal when we get to the final sequel As time turns Without it we have flour and water With it we have breakfast for my daughter As time revolves into something so fine As time runs out The more in a minute you try and squeeze the less you can do with ease. As time ticks All the time that has past man cannot comprehend something so vast. |

If you search the question, you find that Time, Water and No or Yes are the three most common answers.
As the others point out, the answer is in the last question. Can you honestly and truely answer that question? This is the big key, 97% of Harvard student's can't get it correct, but 84% percent of kindergardners can. Could a kindergardner, figure out that it's TIME, if that were the answer? The reason yes make sense to me, is that if you can say no to the question, then yes you can answer the question. The Riddle is kind of like this silly game we used to play. It begins like this. "Do you wanna play a memory game?" "Sure." "What are you wearing?" "Clothes." So on and so forth, until you finally ask, "Okay, now what was the first question I asked you?" So it's either No, or what I'm still trying to decide, Yes. Last edited by eljan81 : 5-2-08 at 23:49. |

i did search that too, BUT as mentioned above, would a kindergardner really understand that the riddle acctually is relative to the poem? I still think the answer would be yes. if your answer is "no", then you said you can't guess the riddle when in fact you really can. The reason they throw that Harvard vs. kindergardner part in there is because the college students will try and break every single part of the riddle down for the correct answer when the kindergardner was acctually paying attention to what was being asked.
