The only reason I could see wanting one, other than I guess saying that you have one might be so that they don't break off in the lock. But I don't know of any places that sell them. Did you try a google search?

looks like it's 98$ for one model of key (mixed colors) and another 98$ for the other mazda key. Is the MAZ16 for 1st gens? Do they fit on other mazdas?

It's 40 cents a key and 35 cents shipping so a buck works out pretty good. I'll buy them if nobody else wants to. It really doesn't matter to me. But I need a few 2nd gens.
