Somebody blew up my a-hole neighbors mailbox the same way the other night. The postal inspector confirmed it.

I've never made one and really wouldn't want to. Seems very dangerous and pointless as well. I was suprised that the police didn't come and sent the postal inspector instead. The neighbor called the police and the inspector showed up and told us what it was. The mailbox was literally blown to pieces and the inspector said the bad thing is that they can go off at any time....like when you're getting your mail in the morning. He has a teenage son so I imagine he probably pissed someone off. It's not like it was the intention to harm someone, just blow up the mailbox, but that could have gone horribly wrong.

I would never make one in a populated area but i have a large chunk of woods behind my house and set them off back there, they do take a while to explode. We normally set them down and run back about 100 yards lol. Then wait about 5-10 minutes before it goes off.
