A REAL car enthusiast doesnt put an obnoxious-sounding exhaust on thier car. A dumb[fizzle] does that. And dont even start to tell me having a loudass muffler on your car is "enjoying" your car. I've rode in plenty of cars with fart cans. If anything, they make your ears hurt enough to want to get earplugs. No enjoyment in that. There were no wrong assumptions in my original post.

What would you pref we all go by stock vehicles or harleys that are louder then every car in my group and say I am now "Stock" or maybe just buy a Kia and forget enjoying what I love. Again STFU moron

It seems you didn't read my post defiler, that officer was in the wrong. Police do not have free reign to cite everyone out there for what they think might be some violation, they have to be able to support it with facts, something that particular officer never intended to do.

Lets get things straight, unlawfull stop vs. liquor-related arrests, not the same thing.

I expect police to arrest people who break the law, a simple breathalizer test is often needed to get the supporting evidence to convict for this sort of crime. A little test in front of the cop car camera helps the officer prove the subject is not only intoxicated but often just plain unsafe to be out and about.

I would never call the cops to come and save my family or myself for that matter, in the time it takes to pull out my cell and dial 911, I can unload my 1911 and drop at least 4 attackers, by the time the operator answers the call I can reload and drop another 4 attackers, reloading again and explaining what is happening to the 911 operator will slow down the last 8 rounds a bit but lets give it up for another 4 attacker durring the 911 conversation, buy the time the police arrive my gun and 12 bodies will be cold and all three magazines reloaded with a round in the tube.

Cops don't save lives, well placed 45cal hollow-points do that.

Now don't get your stuff all up in a wad, I cart a gun with me every where I go, and have done so as long as I have been able to, thats going on 14 years now. I've never needed to pull one as a civilian, but that does not mean that I am not ready to do so at any time.

And they dont NEED to use a DB meter. It's pretty obvious when a car is louder than stock, especially when you have a 5" tip or whatnot sticking out the back. Basically, if they can hear your car, they know it's not stock. And 99% of the time, they're right.

They kinda do, otherwise theres no evidence that the exhuast is to loud. Fight it in court, and get it dropped. They do have a meter to test how loud it is. Its basically the same as saying your speeding. "Oh i know you were doing atleast 10 over the limit, i didnt catch you with the radar, but heres a ticket anywase, cause I have an internal radar implanted in my eyes"

I know from expereince, the cops single out the tuner style cars.
Theres 3 times the amount of hill billy trucks with dual staight pipe exhuast in my city then there is imports/domestic tuner cars. The trucks are annoying as hell, I literally want to chuck rocks at them as they drive by because its so loud and sounds like ass. When children and old folks cringe and hold there ears, you know that [shizzle] is to loud

Rarely, do you see them get pulled over and get a ticket.

Also the crotch rocket scene is big to, alot them running on high performance mufflers, they are extremely loud.
And choppers, they dont even have mufflers. Hell my dad rides a boss hoss with 383 stroker in it, open header.. never has been pulled over once for anything.
