Woohoo! I've bought more stuff off Ebay in the past month than I have in the past year!
I can't believe just a month ago, someone made a joke of "Ha, $50 Canadian? What's that, $25 US?!" Idiot Maybe soon it'll be our turn to make those jokes

Cause not to generalize americans, but SOME americans think they are better than canadians just because they are americans. I worked at a hockey tournament (in Canada) for canadian and american teams and you could just tell who was american by the way they'd talk to you.
The way it was setup was we'd give them 5% exchange (i think the real rate was like 6.5-7%). It was setup like that for simplicity's sake.. IE all the stuff was like 20$ or 30$... And this one dude bought a shirt worth 25$ canadian and i told him it was 5% exchange and he's like "Well then, i'll pay with my credit card because they actually give me how much my money is actually worth". i was like actually dumbfounded. 2% of 40$ is what...80 cents? I wanted to punch this arrogant asshole out. It might not seem like he did anything like mean or whatever, but i wish you could of heard the way he talked down to me...
But whose laughing now, [fizzle]ing jackass. Wait till i clean sweep ebay with my CANADIAN DOLLAR THAT IS GREATERTHAN YOUR OH SO PRECIOUS AMERICAN DOLLAR.
^^^ I completely know what you're talking about, just based on seeing people on this board making ignorant remarks about how much more the American dollar is [was] compared to the Canadian dollar. Even though I get it's a joke, it was really just maddenly irritating.

Yepers, take a gander at this thread http://www.mx6.com/forums/1g-mx6-for...er-60-a-3.html (T3 Super 60) and mainly from post #35 on and you'll see some of the petty remarks in action and how they were handled and keep in mind at that time our dollar was still a little less than US when I replied but I knew it was coming even before our dollar blew past the US $ like it was standing still
