So I was sitting outside on my lunch break, having a smoke, and nearby, a mother was getting into an SUV with her 7 year old daughter.
The little girl was singing a popular country song. She was singing the words, "Save a horse, ride a cowboy".
Now as disturbing as it is that this clueless mother would let her 7 year old girl not only listen to sexually charged music at such a young age, it got worse.
The little girl, not knowing any better, wasn't singing the correct lyrics.
She was actually saying, "Save a whore, ride a cowboy."
No joke!
She obviously didn't know what she was saying, but I couldn't refrain from laughing my ass off hearing those words come from the mouth of a child.
But it got worse. After hearing her daughter sing this phrase about a dozen times, the mom finally corrected her daughter. She didn't say, "Honey, you shouldn't be singing that song." Instead, she corrected her by saying, "No no, not WHORE, HORSE!"
To which the little girl then started singing the correct lyrics.
This shows you how clueless this mother really is. She wasn't concerned about her 7 year old daughter openly singing about having sex with cowboys, but concerned with singing it properly.
And I bet when her daughter is 15 and pregnant, she'll blame the media and the public schools, and wonder where she ever went wrong.
Un-f##king-believable.
In other news, it caused me to think of a new t-shirt slogan: Save a whore, kill a cowboy.
"You can hide v-tech from the cops. You can't hide turbo." -Actual words from a Honda owner-
I bet that little girl has myspace and facebook also and that is where she picked up that dirty song at. lol! it is sad indeed but lets face it people should be given a iq test before they can procreate! but the stupid are the ones who have the kids. not much else can be said really, people are stupid and it just goes threw the generations. when I have kids I will make damn sure they come up right in the messed up world. maybe that is the army in me speaking but I want to make sure my kids do things right the first time around.
I am a thief. Do not buy from me. Do not pity me... I am a lying thief.
