Mx6.com ... the way it was meant to be viewed (Boxing day thread)
So i camped out for 6 hours with a lady friend of mine on boxing to get one of these bad boys for 499$ (400$ off...check the futureshop.ca website and they have them for 699$ (only 200$ off)!!!). 32Inch HD LCD Toshiba. They sold out of these, and the 42 inch versions in less than 10 minutes :O. MY room doesnt look too bad for a 19 year old now ... all i need is the xbox 360.
Anyways, yes, thats 5.1 surround sound tower speakers (hooked up to computer) haha. So pretty much screw my old 17 inch LCD display.
I also got a 250$ amp for 99$, 2 subwoofers for 150$ (regular 220$), half price HMDI cable, Globe skater shoes for 60$ (regular 110$), and a wireless keyboard/mouse combo for 29$ (regular 110$).
What's boxing deals? Is that like Black Friday in the states? Yeh, I got 2 laptops, 2 navigation systems, and a [shizzle] load of craftsman tools for less than $1000.
i can't believe americans don't have boxing day! In short, its the day after christmas that all the big companies put their products on for usually 50% off. Hence, leads to people camping out from midnight till 6 am when the stores open (open early for the sales)
you shoulda looked for some good deals on not-ugly furniture to sit that stuff on :P
while it isn't "boxing day" here - the several days after christmas are always big sales days. Black friday (day after thanksgiving) tends to havebetter deals for us though.

Well the table thing its sitting on was given to me, so im not really complaining haha.
And i'm moving into a room thats 3x the size of this one within a month and the TV just got setup to work, so thats why the wires were all showing.
We just picked up a 40 inch Sony LCD Bravia Full HD TV and saved $750, and on top of that, there's a Sony promotion where we get a free PS3 as well, so i've sent off the claim and I'm eagerly waiting for it!

Its a funny story. I still live at home as i go to university so for lunch every year, my mom cuts up pepperoni and expensive cheese and meat, etc. So it's a bag of pepperoni that i was munching on.
And if u must know, i had 1 cat, 2 dogs, and 5 horses. lol
