umm yeah, before you learn to "float" the gears, you have to double clutch to shift period.

Did the EVO have a 6 speed by 99? A swap would be reasonable.

It was rivets poping out because you know those DSM's make so much torque the frames just twist. Like the hemi.

THATS it I'm gonna resolve this ! where's that DVD! brb

and lol dsm lol ..

OK now if you notice hte final shift is a forward shift had it been a 6 speed it would of been a rear shift as his 1'st gear is a forward gear his 6th should be a backwards pull so it was indeed a 5 speed
tranny and they made it seem like a 6

as illustrated by this the 5th and final gear ends up in a forward position while a 6 speed tranny or

Tend to have 6th gear as a back shift and if you watch the movie his final gear shift is forward.

oh and he hits the rev limmiter so the car topped out at 140 cus of the tranny had he switched the tranny he would of put one in there with some more speed to match the "because you know those DSM's make so much torque the frames just twist. Like the hemi." torque and hp.. although 140 in a quarter mile would be pretty impressive... all that was wrong was the wording had he said I only managed 120 in 10 seconds .. I need NOS and I need it by tonight!

Yeah the whole 120+ trap speed in a street car in was rediculous.

Atleast for an import in the 90's. The hemi? Mabe. But proabably not on the street.

I was going to the autoX a few weekends ago but worked on the TA instead.

I'm heading to the 1/4 track this friday though. I'm not even sure if the 6 will pass tech.
