anyone else have REALLY bad luck with cars?

so latley i have had the WORST luck ever. on my 240 i did my brakes and had a hell of a time. took 2 days because of problems, rust, and broken parts. then today i was on my way home for the night. driving a little slower than the speed limit because it has just rained. then it starts POURING so bad i couldnt see even with wipers on.

then my windows fogged up and while i was going to turn the fans on i tapped a curb. then its ok i can only see when there were no headlights on me. so im driving REALLY slow now. and out of no where my exhaust decided it wanted to break off and be ricer loud. i tell ya cars hate me.

Too bad you dont live over in Chicago. People there would be like "pfft, Mine's louder". I know, becuase when I bought my car in Ohio, my exhaust fell off at the tollway right outside of chicago, on my way home to WI. Not a single person turned their head to see what was making all the racket, lol

Can't you weld the exhaust back together for the time being?

ok well it turned out that the audi pipe that was shoved over the 6 inches of pipe after the cat was GONE. lol the muffler was still hangin on. so i went to the local car-x and they bent me up a pipe and welded it on. he did a really nice job to. my car is quiet and for once, i think its a good thing. i have never owned a car this quiet before. haha well thats one problem down. only like 8 more to go!!!

One thing I've learned about owning an older car is that it's worth it to save a bit more and buy a newer one.

That makes sense if you live where cars rust so bad parts fall off as you drive along.

Currently have two 1988 MX-6 GT 5 speeds, both white, one stock, one not
