I dont know, I might laugh if I saw someone pull out an axe. Alot of the swords I have would not be real useful in a fight/home invasion scenerio. Forgetting the blunt ones, some are very European sword style that is designed to well fight someone else with a sword and hit hard rather then sharp. All it would be to an unarmed person would be a slightly sharp bat. A katana would work great against an unarmed(or with a regular knife) person though. I like my machete/big FO knife because it is heavy enough to chop and long enough to reach, without being cumbersome.

Talking about weapons and not gun control laws???

I admit even ive had enough talking bull[shizzle] about gun laws. I think 3-4 long ass threads in 2 weeks is more then enough. Especially when we keep saying the same stuff over and over again.

Ive been thinking of old schooling it by picking up a either a Mosin-Nagan variant or an Mk1 which will probably just come down to legality. After I get sick of hunting with the bow that is, wont be for a year or so at least.

I will have to post a pic, its a neat axe but I doubt its for anything more then scaring that friend who is over. I have a gun for a reason. The Swords, Knifes, Axes are just for the fun of having.

Too scared to get close?

Guns for sport, "guns" (see 02kyle post above) for self defence.

I don't have any pics but my favorites are as follows:
Shot gun: Benelli Armi M4 -> converted to Super 90
Handgun: 1970's Colt .45 1911 with a Hi-Cap
Rifle: Heckler and Koch G3 or FN FAL with the stock bipod

A few of my toys, way too expensive is what they really are:

Some of you "gamer" will recognize this pistol, most won't.

This one is loud and very expensive to shoot. If you know what a .460 S&W is you'll know what this is.

These are the GUNS I wish I had:
