weirdest thing you've had happen while traveling

tell a short story about the weirdest thing you've experienced while behind the wheel.

mine happened a few weeks ago, while driving between delray bch back to my home, traveling along SR27, which just happened to wend its way through the thunderstorms going on across the state that day. (if you know anything about FL, you know we get some really nasty thunderstorms, what you might not know is sometimes its 15 minutes of hurricane like conditions)
anyways, the route sr27 took allowed me to avoid several different storms this day, but it did take us into the edges of some of them. while driving through one of the edges, about 30-40 mins from home, we had just passed a semi, driving about 75mph and just entered the storm, so I slowed accordingly down to about 60mph (spd limit is 65mph) then, out of no where, I swear it felt like another vehicle slammed the side of my truck ! I had to struggle for about 15-20 seconds against a cross wind that hit us from the storm, from what I could tell, this wind was blowing in excess of 50mph. I took a quick glance in my mirror to check on the semi I had just passed and saw he was struggling the same (and most likely more) than I was as he was all over the road himself. thank god I had already passed him, if this wind had hit while I was doing so, there is no doubt it would have resulted in a pretty nasty accident, not to mention my son was on the side of the truck nearest the semi. anyways, in that short time I looked at the semi, something else caught my eye, the back end of my truck started to raise off the ground ! it lifted about 3-4 inches, then slammed back to the road (making me need to struggle with the truck again...) but the bed cover I have wasnt locked down, so I watched it lift completely up and it stayed that way for about 3 seconds before it also slammed down.
there is no doubt in my mind of what happened, Im positive that we got caught in a minor funnel system, and since the rear of my truck is far lighter than the front, it was only able to lift that part of the truck, but it wasnt strong enough to really lift it much so we managed to drive out of it.
freaked me out majorly !

I saw a Raccon with rabies biteing a old tire the other night. I stoped to get and see what the retarted thing was doing. And it just sat there snaring at me with some icy puss coming from its mouth. Cute right?

I can't think of any thing to put down here, other then I own a 5.0 Mustang.

Stop sign look left- there is a skunk in a yard and the sprinkler comes on, it startles the skunk who sprays the sprinkler- looks at it like "WTF?" and runs off while I get lulz at said stop sign.

^ Did you have to put a sock on it or something? I would really hate to get man juice on anything in the interior of my car.

I don't have any stories to top those but my family and I drove across the USA in the summer of 2000 and many memories were made. The van we were towing our travel trailer with went through 6 rear ends and we spent almost a week broken down in Las Vegas.

having a hay bale unexpectedly fly at my car. Missed me by centimetres...

My step sister waas once driving through the country in convoy. there were 3 cars, and she was in the middle one. First car has hit a roo that they didnt see. Roo went flying, over my stepsisters car, and landed on the third car. Both damaged cars were written off. The roo survived.
