Need opinion

On my other forums there's only 3 people online so i know i wont' get an answer soon lol.

I'm selling my CB 360 ok. Well this guy wants to trade a '79 Suzuki GS 750 with new paint.

He wants something else to play with and restore and all the suzuki needs is a stator. Which is a simple repair, just a more or less costly part. The money i don't really need, it would be nice to have to pay for stuff but i think in the long run i would enjoy a bigger bike more since i probably won't be able to afford a katana 750 anytime soon.

Word on the street is i'm next to be hired at the honda dealer but i also heard from the shop manager on a different discussion that he has 3 techs with their hands in their pockets. So i know it won't be soon that i'm on. But anyway.

Is it worth the trade, i know these 750's are heavy [fizzle]ers but i think i'm ready for something bigger than the 250 triple i'm rocking daily.

Sell the bike, wait till you get into a job that pays well, save the 250 as a tinkerer, and pick something up that`s newer and more reliable as a daily rider.

That`s what I`d do...

2012 Corolla S - Reliable Commuter
1997 2WD F150 - Project/Workhorse
1971 Honda C70 - Project for a friend

he doesn't even have a way of transporting it here now. So i think i'm going to pay on this. Thinking things over i would have to replace the stator, title it, and then insure it.......which would be like 130 bucks for a year.

End result is me spending money that i dont' have. I'm still iffy on this but i'm not certain on this anymore.

boy that didn't seem to stir up as much trouble as i had thought it would lol.

I've heard from many people now that the GS 750's are really dependable bikes. I'm slightly annoyed i don't have the money for it but then really i don't need another bike at the moment.

Although if something does pop up like that again and it does run there's a pretty good chance i'll probably snatch it up.
