Jedi Power toy?!

This is for real?!

I had no idea, only found out 5 minutes ago. I didn't even know we had this technology to start with, let alone accessible enough to make a toy out of it for $80.00 at Zellers

Here's the trailer found at the Zellers website for the toy:

I saw this in the JCPenny catalog. I thought about getting for my brother for a gift.

The presentation you showed made it look more challenging than I first thought.
Reconsidering the Christmas gift now.

^the Force will do that to you. Remember what happened to those pigs in Jabba's palace in Return of the Jedi?

Seriously, though, I'm skeptical about these toys (there's a similar one on the market called Mindflex) just because this sort of technology isn't something we've seen in the consumer market and they're selling it for so cheap. But I can't explain how they'd work otherwise. It's pretty impressive if it's real, though.

^^The toy reads brainwave activity and transforms it into movement. It uses a similar technology from a EKG, and they toy is kinda challenging at first because both the computer and the user have to "learn" to recognize the brain signals.

The toy has been on talks for quite a while now, I've been thinking about grabbing one. Seems like a cool little gadget.
