RWD Conversion?

Hey just wondering if a 94 mx6 can be converted into a rwd car?

that'd make a hell of a car.

Your probably going to get flamed for this Lol.

But yes it can be done. With ALOT of money, but that goes with any kind of conversion of that magnitude. There's a guy who successfully converted his probe to rwd. Frankenprobe I think it was.

This is also... the wrong section.

The answer to your most recent question is much like my underwear.

Depends.

“One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that if you drive into London at 6am, half of the cars on the roads are Porsches and Astons. Whereas if you go in at ten to nine, they’re all Renaults. Simple solution, then. You want a nice car? Get up earlier and do more work.”

Well that's rude.

You're 17 and full of questions, life is all around you begging you to find answers to things that nobody has asked before! Thing is they have asked, and answered. And you have all the tools you need to find your own answers. Both in life an on the inter webs.

Now, while I can certainly appreciate the curiosity, but just in case you missed it the first time, use the [fizzle]ing search button.

Oh, and RWD not needed to be a billy bad ass. People expect them to be fast at whatever they do...nobody expects a FWD to be anything special...until it's the fastest thing in the parking lot. Concealer knows what I'm on about.

ya sorry bout that. what you don't know is...

i already did quite a bit of research and found an answer of ???

wasn't trying 2 start anything just wanted 2 know.

fwd have weaker front ends and you fight torque steer without a LSD but still can fight it.

but if you build them up right true they can wip any rwd on a grip course.

but i like it more sideways fwd can't drift that good.

i feel like a ignorant teenager which im not.

***over and out for this thread***

You should probably buy a Miata or 240sx.

Not a weak front end, it's a matter of axles trying to twist things while wheels are trying to turn things. /oversimplification

Yep, that's my main point.

Ah ha! And we have the source of the question. I know very much what you mean. I just sold my Chevy 350 swapped '86 RX7. There's nothing like power on oversteer of a RWD.

Please don't take offense, but yes, you kinda are, all teenagers are and it's ok, you're supposed to be. Keep exploring, keep asking questions. Don't find answers, ask some more in a different direction. You obviously have some insight, use it. You'll do fine.
