Well the [shizzle]ty part of my whole week now is that somebody hit my mazda3 in a parking lot and left me to take care of all the damage. Hit and run FTL. Mother[fizzle]er better burn in hell.
How the hell do you back into someone's car, scratching/breaking the front bumper, beating the [shizzle] out of a fender, and relocating a headlight slightly and not even stop to write your name and info on a piece of paper? People astound me. It's easily 1500+ worth of damage.
can we get a list of the people going? this will help me and jerl get things ready for you guys. food wise and what not... please update your post with your name and the list of people before you. thaaaanks!!
1. me
2. jerl
3.

Does anyone coming have an extra *working* KL alternator?
I need one for the mx3. let me know

yeah. i have one that i took out of jerl's sister's 96. i thought it was no good but it turns out that there was a wire pulled out of the connector that goes into the alternator. i found this out AFTER i already swapped it in... womps. its all yours sir.

the basic plan is: lets get enough people there early enough where i can put people to work on both sides of the car... with enough skilled hands, we can get this done in record time.
Last minute check: WHO is bringing a clutch alignment tool? I have no idea where any of the 3 or 4 i have have wound up unfortunately.

Well, of course I have to work this weekend, otherwise I would be there. And Chef, there are so many junkyard really close to Bloomfield. I used to get parts there all the time.

- impact wrench (electric - don't want to bring my compressor lol)
- axle nut socket
- o2 sensor socket
- pickle fork
- tool bags with many standard and misc. tools
- whatever else i find that i think might come in handy
- one or more of my hard drives. Did you get a TB drive yet?
Aside from what we spoke about - you should also have many cans of carb/brake parts cleaner. Get whatever is cheap... and get a lot of it (4 cans is what my last tranny took to clean with all the clutch dust in there)
also - start hitting the bolts on the tranny, slave cylinder, and whatever else with pb blaster/ kroil tonight if possible.
