Mike has the car but is currently CONSIDERING selling it, i am talking to him about possible buying it but it's tough because I have to convince my bank that a 1993 car is worth the price he's asking to them it is still a 93 MX6 worth around 2-3k so i have to talk financing with em. But it could still happen, his car is truly amazing.

just apply for a line of credit.. that way they do not need to know where the money is going.... still a loan.. just not a car loan..

^ Usually with a much higher interest rate though. I originally took out a signature loan for my car (to avoid full coverage insurance at $350/mo), the APR was a whopping 12%, but I saved a hell of a lot of money without that huge ins. payment, so it was alright. Eh, I dunno, would he take your RSX in trade, Kansas? What's he asking, anyway? $8k+?

we talked about trading for the RSX but again that would require me to transfer the collateral on the loan and they don;t value the car at enough to secure the loan. Not sure if that is the correct wording but ya get the idea, we had planned out a straight trade for the cars, we will see i am still working with my damn bank
