Mobile Exhaust Install?

Guys -

I'm in need of a new exhaust. I'm trying to avoid having to tow it somewhere to get the new one put on (it's at Pacesetter's only at this point). Does anyone know of a service that will come to you to install a custom exhaust? I swear I've seen these somewhere before, but haven't had much luck finding one since.

Also - anyone have any suggestions for garage space / auto bay space for rent or nightly use in the Hampton Roads area? I'd really like to get working on my '6 again but have no where to keep it / work on it.

Let me know. Thanks!

-Kris

Im pretty sure theres no kind of service of what you are looking for insurance purposes but can you not drive your car to an exhaust shop or is the delema that you can not drive the car period? Maybe a mom and pops shop would be willing to come out. If that is the case I would suggest buying a bolt on exhaust and jacking the car up on one side and get to work!

The place I get all my exhaust work done quoted me $300 on a mandrel bent full exhaust after I had to take my $550 borla cat-back up to him and get it welded in a few places

He runs Mitch's Muffler and Brake here in Norfolk and is very good. Is there a reason you can't drive the car to a muffler shop and stay there a couple/few hours while they do the work?

The main reason is that the car is probably 150dB when driving at 35MPH, since it's coming straight off the headers.

It's also currently in my garage in Northern VA - but that may be changing soon.

Stay light on the throttle and IF you were to get pulled over....I don't see an officer writing you a ticket when you're on your way to a place to get it fixed. Unless they think you can do it in your driveway?!?
