Hey..I'm totally new...

Hello All,

name: Aisya "ace" "boom boom" Purnsley
car: 99 626 LX, 95 V6 MX6
loc: Durham/ Chapel Hill, NC
email: PoetsElixir@aol.com

I am brand new to mx6.com, but am definately a mazda fan from way back. I currently own a 99 626 LX (that i am trying to sell, if you are interested let me know), and I am buying a 95 V6 MX6, with all the options.

My MX6 will acutally be my frist project car. Although I have helped my friends with their own cars, I am still a bit new to it all.

I just wanted to get in touch with you guys and see if i could find out what's going on with other owners in my area.

Thanks. Stay cool.

CIAO

Motegi mr7's (white) 17 inch wheels
Khumo Escta 215/45 tires
2 Sony Xplod 10" subs
Polk Speakers
JVC Head unit

im looking around for an intake and cat-back exhaust for my car. The only companies i've seen that do exhaust are pacesetter and HKS. the HKS setup woulldn't work for my probe though cuz its for 2.5's and mine is a 2.0. and from what i've heard, i shouldn't even waste my time with pace setter. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I'm also considering a body kit. I like the intimidator kit from andy's auto. Alot of probe owners like the shogun/aggressor kit. i kinda like that kit, but that front bumper looks too weird, but the side skirts and rear bumper are cool.

Hello All! Everthings great here in the big ol town of Stoneville NC. We have two stoplights, don't blink you'll miss 'em.

I'm new to MX6.com, but not to the MX's... My current baby is a fully loaded jet black 91 MX6 LX. Had to replace my 89 MX6; 85 mph and a doe don't mix. I have pics if you want to see $3400 in damage. The 89 had quite a few mods, 20 over, aggressive P&P on intake and head, ngk's and accel 8.8 wires/ coil, stage two cam. I relocated the battery to the trunk for a custom cold air and for my sound system, and a cat back exhaust. It ran a low 10 at Piedmont naturally aspirated, and a low 9 on a 50 shot of laugh gas. I plan on yanking the running gear and sound system out of it and transplanting it into the 91. When I'm done you'll be able to see me running around Greensboro terrorizing all the honda's!!

I do have some questions though... What's the largest wheel and tire combination that can be used on a 1st gen MX6? I tried the 17x9 cobra r's I took off my mustang before I traded it. The bolt pattern was the same, but it rubbed the strut tower. Also is there a relatively cheap alternative to the body kit delima 1st gener's all face? I saw the kits on Pakfeifer Tuning (Canada), and although they are awsome, the full kit runs about $1800 dollars, which is a little steep. Will a body kit for the 87-89 Acura Integra/legend fit our cars?
