You guys do remember that this is the guy that kept up with that FD right? His car is quick and I wouldn't doubt it if he did beat him. Wait until I get some race vids

STI low 13's from a dig. Considering both cars were rolling, and considering that a ZE at 7psi is a 13 sec capable car itself, and will probably trap higher then a STI, and they were rolling. I believe it. Not from the video, but because I know it can be done having driven an STI and driven my car and numbers.
From a dig he would have left the mx6 for dust though. My mates standard(only upped the boost to 17psi) my00 WRX takes me from a dig and only towards the end of 2nd do I catch up. |

yes he definately gave just enough gas to loose by a couple car lengths from 30-100mph
yes i would also stand by those comments...sarcasm/ wrx = 300bhp...through drive train losses due to the awd system they dyno at 250-260whp (don't believe me? Look it up its well known...and 14.5-15psi is stock boost) ref: Stock WRX STi dyno figure with graph [Archive] - NASIOC -graph no longer there but read the page. many stock sti's running 250whp mx6 = anywhere from 240-280whp depending on the tune...less losses and a lighter car and with the wrx loosing its advantage off the line .... whats shown is a very reasonable result = good kill Last edited by vandejm : 5-2-08 at 21:00. |

what do you think 63 trim turbonetics turbo on a klze would do with 10:1 pistons? 200 hp stock plus that means its gonna haul ass. AWD sucks on a straight away from a roll. More weight plus drivetrain losses. Im sure the mx6 has more horse to the wheels than the sti.
Speaking of....jim you owe me a boost ride...i havent been in it since the ze went in ![]() |

Owned, much like me here. I won't be posting there much, that's for sure... STI and EVO are fast, but where they are best is through corners and off the line. FWD can be uber fast in a straight line from a roll. What's this "from a dig" stuff, which dialect brought that to us? |
