13.7@98 N/A Mx-6 VID inside!

So went out to the track tonight with the DD Mx-6 b/c the probe is down yet again. Turned out pretty good.

This is what i ran plus some other 13sec passes.

Car:
97 mx6 KLZE swap full leather interior with ice cold AC.

Mods:
1. KLZE
2. MS system
3. Mandrel bent 2.5" piping to a Borla muffler
4. Pacesetter headers
5. Cold Air intake
6. Fadanza 9lb flywheel
7. RR racing inserts
8. RR racing UD pully
9. 65mm TB
10. Clutch Masters stage 1 kit
11. Nitto 555r drags
12. FD rx7 rims

I wish i lived down there. I'd be at the track with ya What is the estimated cost to get a 2nd gen to run that? And What about if One stripped out some weight?

IDK man if you bought everything new it be close to 3000.00 bucks but if you shopped and bought used stuff then you could do it for less. The most costly iteams are going to be KLZE motor and megasquirt. Tunning and stuff like that. If you get a custom exhuast like i did that cost a good chunk of change.

Yeah so far it is. I still need to fix a few things to be running perfect.

Im being told on PT that this is the best time anyone has gotten with a stock block motor n/a. meaning stock cams,pistons,and rods. plus full interior. The only weight reduction is the FDs

Yeah for some reson when the vris kicks in it makes the car sputter. Its somthing to do with the ms. So i tied them open and i started running much better. I still would like to use the vris so my short times could get better and i can get some top end. I think once i get them working i can get some better times.

yeah, i was reading the forums about your 1/4 time at probetalk, put some slicks on there with weight reduction, you can hit mid to low 13s.

I wanna try getting 13.5 on DOT tires 1st. im only 1.8 60ft away from that

I would but I dont know how? Radar tunes my car and i never see the ms again. Next time am at Radars house ill have him put it on a memory stick and then ill send it to who ever wants it.
