New Best 12.4@118!! VID inside

Well after getting the tranny put in 1st thing I did was hit the track lol. After I fixed the leaks and a few other small things the car was running real strong right before I busted tranny number 7. So I knew I was going to break my 12.6 pass.

1st pass 13.0@ 118! new trap record for me. Tire pressure was at 35 psi and I spun.

2nd pass 12.6@118 again! Droped the tire pressure to 15psi the launch sucked but the rest of the run was cherry.

3rd pass 12.504 almost a 12.4 but this broke my current 12.6 run so I was happy but the trap speed was wrong it said 28.44 lol

4th pass 12.450@118.72 Oh Yeah!

You can hear the bad wheel hop. I had to get out of it then get back on. I could have gotten a better e/t if i would have launched it smoother. Oh well maybe next time! I have noticed that the earlyer you go to the track the more you spin. As the night went on everyone started to get better 60fts and E/Ts
All runs were on 14lbs and on Nitto dot 555rs. Im really happy thaat adding the 350z exhuast system didnt slow me down.

Im making 342whp on 14psi. The motor and tranny came from different cars at the junkyard. Its a stock block and stock tranny with a good tune. Getting the car tuned is KEY when it comes to the KL block. If you want to run 10 or more lbs of boost get a Megasquirt and tune the car. Now this is my 5th motor and 8th tranny so its not easy. I plan on building both the tranny and block but right now im doing ok.
